New book: information literacy meets web 2.0

In case you haven’t heard Facet have recently published the following:

Godwin, P and Parker, J (eds). (2008) Information Literacy Meets Library 2.0. London: Facet. It’s available from the Facet book shop and all good retailers.

I’m still awaiting my copy, after co-writing a chapter with my colleague, Chris Fryer, on Information Literacy and RSS feeds which describes the LSE Training Portal project (and was also the subject of my LILAC presentation). Do hurry to get your copy!

On Friday I’ll be once again talking about LASSIE, this time as part of a guest lecture at City University for the Information Science students. I’ve tagged my resources in del.icio.us for this lecture.
