From E-learning to M-learning

Tomorrow I will be leading a course at CILIP, my first time running a course for them so wish me luck! The course is entitled E-learning to M-learning: support information literacy and learning. I’ve got a great line up of speakers, including Andrew Walsh from University of Huddersfield, Ruth Harrison from Imperial College, Sarah Pavey from Boxhill School and Keith Burnett from Chichester College. It will be a day of learning by doing as well, so we’ll have plenty of gadgets for the delegates to try out. I’m looking forward to the event myself and will be introducing the day with an overview of why we might be considering using m-learning in information literacy and what this might mean in the future. If anyone attended my session at this year’s LILAC on learning 2020, then you might have some clues about what I am going to talk about. I’ll report more after the event though! Needless to say, I suspect I won’t be talking about copyright issues tomorrow too much!
